Well, I know I had individual journals for the 2 previously but I wanted to simplify things a bit & decided to create a joined journal.

My little girl is now 5. According to her she is not a princess anymore, now she is a queen. She even decided that she was ready to get her ears pierced again. She had them done previously but after the waiting period we changed them the first time & sometime in that day she lost one. By the time she told me I couldn't get it back in easily so she wouldn't let me try anymore. The next day we made the decision that wew would take the other one out & she could get them redone once she thought she was big enough. When she mentioned it to me on Saturday I asked her if she remembered that it would hurt when it was done & she said she 5 now & wouldn't cry since she was going to take her cuddly puppy to hold onto. I told her it was still ok to cry. She is VERY proud of them now & keeps showing them to me when she can.

My little Man is 2 1/2. If you ask him he'll tell you he's a little boy. Most days he will get mad if you call him a big boy or even a man. This is one of the reasons why we aren't pushing potty training, we ask him if he wants to be a big boy & wear his Cars inderwear & he says no he's a little boy. He loves playing with his sister but every now & then I find him playing alone in his room.

I want to start him in day care one day a week after he's 3 but don't know how well he'll handle it. He's not as confident away from family as his sister is. I think its going to be a neccessary step for him to prepare him for school time in a couple years. The good part is the daycare I use is in the basement of my work building so I'm close by if need be.

I was going to attach a picture but I don't have any small enough to upload & don't have time to downsize them right now if I'm going to start a roast & get some homework done between helping the kids play. I promise I'll upload some soon.

I made an appointment yesterday for them to get their pictures take professionally in a couple weeks. The place in the mall did the pictures w/Santa this year & because we had them done they are offering no sitting fee & 2 sheets of pictures free. They are supposed to have ral bunnies so Roni is excited. I only hope Little man is in a decent mood as he usually isn't when we try to do pictures (thats why his last ones alone were taken 2 Christmas' ago).
