7.2% blue
17.7% green
75% brown
==================================

No big shocker -- Nicole's eyes are chocolate brown.

We laughed when Nicole was born and ppl were like, "Oh, I wonder what color her eyes will be once they aren't 'infant color' anymore ..." (dh and I both have very dark brown eyes).

Blue 37.5%
Green 12.5%
Brown 50%

Roni's eyes are blue & Nicholas's are still undecided. His eyes are blue on the outside but brown around the iris. So depending on how his eyes are dialated his eyes look either blue or brown.

This thread was in the search so I had to go back and look into it. I am pretty sure I first posted this before I had kids. This is the percentages it gave me for my children's eye color. As I'm sure everyone knows, most babies are born with blue eyes and the permanent eye changes usually happen when the infant is around one year old, although it can happen up to 3 years of age.

2.7% Blue
8.3% Green
88.8% Brown

I laugh because Jax was born with very blue eyes and they only got bluer as he got older, until he was three, when they turned a beautiful light green. Jett is now over 1 and has blue/green eyes. What are the chances?? Oh yeah - 8%. Hahaha! And BOTH of my kids have the light eyes. Very strange.

I remember that quiz! I have a blue-eyed boy and a brown-eyed boy so far. A's have been super blue since he was born, but lately I've caught a few glimpses that look like there may be a bit of green or brown in the middle. M is only 4 months, so his are still changing, but they're moving away from the dark slate blue into a dark brown...from the middle out. They get browner and browner every day, and I'm curious to see what shade (of brown, probably) he'll end up with! I have to say that while I was pregnant I was envisioning a baby with dark hair and green eyes, so who knows.

I think there's also a shift in eye color that can happen around puberty.

75% green
25% blue

G's eyes are bright blue (with no sign of change).
T's are a deeper blue, but there is some green hiding in there. I figure his will end up being a blueish-green.

J, I had a blue eyes until I was 11ish, and from 11-12 they changed to a jade green color.

I am cracking myself up... my assuption was that all of my children would have brown eyes. Wrong. Ella fell into that 7.2%. She has the bluest baby blues!! Her eyes did go from almost indigo to now more of a slate blue. In some light, and depending on what she is wearing, they almost look violet.

So I went and did this. Here are the results for Lori's father and I:
10% blue
90% green
0% brown
Lori has beautiful blue eyes. They look grey-sapphire even depending on whats she's wearing.

With DH and I:
6.9% blue
43% green
50% brown
David has brown eyes, they were never blue, just this grey-brown color when he was born. DH has some Spaniard in him so I suspect there's a higher chance of light eyes. DH's mother has dark skin and dark hair but green eyes.(they're puerto rican) but her dad or grandfather(don't recall which) being puerto rican, had white skin, blond hair, and blue eyes. DH's brother's 3rd child is white, blond, with blue eyes. It's very interesting to watch jeans play out.

I got 50% blue, and 50% green. I have green eyes and dh has blue eyes. I think both his parents have blue eyes and my mom has blue and my dad has brown.
