L has picked this up from DH and I tell her that it is not something we should say but don't try to make such a big deal about it so she won't think it's funny.

I've also asked DH watch what he says around the kids too.

I wouldn't ignore it the next time just react more matter of factly. Stern but not screaming or freaking out about it.

This is reminding me that my mom used to threaten us with washing our mouths out with soap which did work as we loved The Christmas Story and knew exactly how awful a soapy mouth would be lol.

That brings back memories... when I was about 4, I picked up on the word S.O.B and apparently thought it was funny enough to say in church, repeatedly I got my mouth washed out with soap. I still remember how horrible that junk tasted
