March weight loss challenge

K was named (first name) after dh's Grandma and middle name after my Great Grandma.
G, well I really don't know how dh came up with that name. He likes it and I like it so it will probably stick. His middle name was picked out of a baby name book. I just started going through all the names until I found some that sounded right with his name and then I told dh my favorite and he liked it.

K was almost Lillian, but dh don't like that name. He says none of his kids will be named after flowers. If G was a girl his name would have been Novalee Diane (and if we have another girl she might still get that name.) Of course if K would have been a boy then she would be G. LOL We picked his name while pregnant with her and still liked it when I got pregnant again so naming him was super easy.

I looked at tons of baby names books. With N, one day, her name combo just hit me, and I loved it. I had a really hard time because B had already told me he didn't like the first name. Obviously, it grew on him! B fell in love with A's name, and I liked it but wasn't sure, then it grew on me. Both of their first names are biblical, although we didn't really plan it that way.

Neither of them was named after anyone, first or middle name. We wanted them to have unique names that are just their own. Also, my great uncle was named after his father and went by his middle name, which he hated, all his life. He told people all the time never to name their kids after their parents, so I imagine that influenced me some.

D would have been Sydeny Brooke or Kelsey Brooke. I picked D's fn but the ex picked D's mn Hunter. D wasn't named after anyone, I had always loved that name.

D picked out E's fn. I picked out E's mn Cade. E would have been Alonnah, Cameron or Brilyn. I was having a hard time picking out girl's names. I was set on the name Noah for E until T's cousin *that lives across the street* named her son that 6 months before E was born. I still love the name Noah tho.
